Product Overview
This product is used in power distribution systems of power users such as substations, industrial and mining enterprises, operating at AC 50Hz, with a rated working voltage of 380V and a rated current up to 3150A. It is applied for power conversion, distribution, and control of power, lighting, and power distribution equipment.
The product features high breaking capacity (with a rated short-time withstand current of 50kA), flexible circuit schemes, convenient combination, strong practicality, and a novel structure. It is one of the representative products of assembled fixed-panel switchgear in China.
This product complies with standards such as GB 7251 Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies and IEC 60439 Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies.
Meaning and Classification of Model
Normal Operating Conditions
Ambient Temperature: -5℃ ~ +40℃, with the average temperature within 24 hours not exceeding +35℃.
Altitude: 2000m or below.
Relative Humidity: Not exceeding 50% at a temperature of +40℃; higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures (e.g., 90% at +20℃). The impact of occasional condensation caused by temperature changes shall be taken into account.
Inclination: The inclination angle of the equipment relative to the vertical plane shall not exceed 5° during installation.
Installation Site: The equipment shall be installed in a location free from severe vibration, shock, and conditions that could cause corrosion to electrical components.

Selection of Circuit Components
GGD cabinets mainly adopt electrical components that can be mass-produced domestically, such as DW17, DZ20, and DW15 series. For the main circuit breakers of the cabinet frame, models like DW45, CW1, AE, M, and F can also be selected; for molded case circuit breakers, more advanced domestic and international electrical components such as DZ253, TM30, and NS series are used.
The HD13BX and HS13BX series rotary-operated switches are specially designed to meet the unique structural requirements of GGD cabinets. They modify the operating mode of the mechanism while retaining the advantages of traditional products, making them a new utility-type electrical component.
If the design department selects new electrical components with better performance and more advanced technology based on user needs, the GGD cabinet’s excellent installation flexibility generally prevents difficulties in manufacturing and installation caused by component upgrades.
To further improve the dynamic stability of the circuit, the busbar support of GGD cabinets adopts ZMJ-type combined busbar clamps and insulating supports. The busbar clamps are thermoformed from high-strength, high-flame-retardant PPO composite materials, featuring high insulation strength, good self-extinguishing performance, and a unique structure—single or double busbar clamps can be conveniently assembled by adjusting modular spacers. The insulating supports adopt a sleeve-type molded structure, which has low cost and high strength, solving the defect of insufficient creepage distance in traditional products.
Structural Features
Cabinet Frame: The cabinet of the GGD-type AC low-voltage power distribution switchgear adopts a universal cabinet design. The frame is assembled from C-section steel, and frame parts and supporting accessories are produced and supplied by our company to ensure the accuracy and quality of the cabinet. It has a high universality coefficient: parts are designed based on the modular principle, with 20-module mounting holes, enabling the factory to achieve pre-production. This not only shortens the manufacturing cycle but also improves work efficiency.
Heat Dissipation Design: Sufficient consideration is given to heat dissipation during the operation of the cabinet in the GGD cabinet design. There are different numbers of heat dissipation slots at both the upper and lower ends of the cabinet. When electrical components inside the cabinet generate heat, the heat rises and is discharged through the upper slots, while cold air is continuously supplemented into the cabinet through the lower slots. This forms a natural ventilation channel from top to bottom in the sealed cabinet, achieving the purpose of heat dissipation.
Aesthetic Design: In line with the requirements of modern industrial product styling design, the GGD cabinet’s overall appearance and the division dimensions of each part are designed using the golden ratio method, making the entire cabinet elegant and generous.
Cabinet Door Structure: Cabinet doors are connected to the frame using rotating hinges, allowing for easy installation and disassembly. A mountain-shaped rubber-plastic strip is embedded in the folded edge of each door; when the door is closed, the strip between the door and the frame has a compression stroke, which prevents direct collision between the door and the cabinet and improves the protection level of the door.
Ground Protection System: The instrument door with electrical components installed is connected to the frame using multi-strand flexible copper wires. The mounting parts inside the cabinet are connected to the frame using knurled washers, forming a complete ground protection system for the entire cabinet.
Surface Treatment: The cabinet surface is treated with a high-pressure electrostatic powder coating process, which has strong adhesion and a good texture. The entire cabinet has a matte finish, avoiding glare and creating a more comfortable visual environment for on-duty personnel.
Top Cover & Lifting Design: The top cover of the cabinet can be removed when needed, facilitating on-site busbar assembly and adjustment. Lifting rings are installed at the four corners of the cabinet top for hoisting and transportation.
Protection Level: The cabinet has a protection level of IP30; users can also choose a protection level between IP20 and IP40 according to the requirements of the usage environment.
