The GGD-type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet is suitable for AC 50Hz power distribution systems of power users such as power plants, substations, and industrial and mining enterprises, with a rated operating voltage of 380V and a rated operating current of up to 3150A. It is used for power conversion, distribution, and control of power, lighting, and distribution equipment.

The GGD-type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet is a new type of low-voltage distribution cabinet designed in accordance with the requirements of the superior authority of the Ministry of Energy, a large number of power users, and design departments, adhering to the principles of safety, economy, rationality, and reliability. The product features high breaking capacity, good dynamic and thermal stability, flexible electrical schemes, convenient combination, strong serialization and practicality, novel structure, and high protection class. It can be used as an upgraded replacement product for low-voltage switchgear assemblies.
The GGD-type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet complies with standards such as IEC 439 Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies and GB 7251 Low-Voltage Switchgear Assemblies.

Main Features
1、The cabinet adopts a universal cabinet design. Its framework is assembled via partial welding using 8MF cold-formed steel. Framework components and dedicated supporting parts are supplied by designated steel profile manufacturers to ensure the cabinet’s precision and quality. Components of the universal cabinet are designed based on the modular principle, with 20-module mounting holes. The high universality coefficient enables pre-production in factories, which not only shortens the manufacturing cycle but also improves work efficiency.
2、During the design of the GGD cabinet, full consideration is given to heat dissipation during cabinet operation. There are different numbers of heat dissipation slots at both the top and bottom of the cabinet. When electrical components inside the cabinet generate heat, the hot air rises and is exhausted through the upper slots, while cold air is continuously supplemented into the cabinet through the lower slots. This forms a natural ventilation channel from bottom to top in the sealed cabinet, achieving the purpose of heat dissipation.
3、In accordance with the requirements of modern industrial product styling design, the golden ratio method is used to design the cabinet’s external shape and the division dimensions of each part, making the entire cabinet elegant and refreshed in appearance.

A mountain-shaped rubber-plastic strip is embedded at the folded edge of the door. When the door is closed, the strip between the door and the framework has a certain compression stroke, which prevents direct collision between the door and the cabinet and also improves the door’s protection class.
5、The instrument door with electrical components installed is connected to the framework using multi-strand flexible copper wires. The mounting parts inside the cabinet are connected to the framework via knurled screws, forming a complete grounding protection system for the entire cabinet.

Operating Conditions for GGD
1、Ambient air temperature: Not higher than +40℃ and not lower than -5℃. The average temperature within 24 hours shall not exceed +35℃.
2、Indoor installation and use: The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000 meters.
3、Relative humidity of ambient air: Not more than 50% when the maximum temperature is +40℃; higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures (e.g., 90% at +20℃). The impact of occasional condensation that may occur due to temperature changes shall be taken into account.
4、When installing the equipment, the inclination angle relative to the vertical plane shall not exceed 5%.
5、The equipment shall be installed in a location free from severe vibration and impact, as well as places where electrical components would not be exposed to corrosion.
6、Special requirements from users can be resolved through negotiation with the manufacturer.
