Overview of RYM6-12 Gas-Insulated Switchgear
The RYM6-12 fully insulated and hermetically sealed gas-insulated metal switchgear (referred to as "gas-insulated switchgear" for short) is also known as "common tank gas-insulated switchgear" or "SF₆ gas-insulated switchgear". All its live parts are completely enclosed in a 3.0mm-thick stainless steel SF₆ gas tank. Multiple branch switches can be installed in one gas tank, ensuring the switchgear is not affected by the environment. It truly achieves functions such as maintenance-free operation, reliable performance, and unattended operation. The gas-insulated switchgear units adopt a modular design, enabling flexible expansion and scientific combination. It is a fully insulated and hermetically sealed high-voltage switchgear.

1、Fully Insulated and Hermetically Sealed: All live components of the gas-insulated switchgear are enclosed in a stainless steel gas tank. The outgoing cables are connected using hermetically sealed cable plug-in units, which can effectively isolate environmental impacts.
2、Modular Design: The gas-insulated switchgear adopts a modular design, allowing flexible expansion of units. Meanwhile, its floor area is reduced by more than 50% compared with conventional high-voltage switchgear.
3、High Shell Protection Level: The gas tank of the gas-insulated switchgear is made of 3.0mm-thick stainless steel plates welded by welding robots, featuring excellent airtightness. It can ensure normal operation for 20 years, with a protection level of IP67.
4、Dual Operation Modes & High Intelligence: The gas-insulated switchgear can be equipped with either electric operation or manual operation. It also supports remote monitoring functions, achieving a high level of intelligence.
